It’s fascinating how the mind works. This abstract landscape came intuitively over the course of a few days, not knowing exactly where it was coming from.
It’s after I stepped back when finishing that I realized I had been doing some research for an upcoming family trip to Italy. The Tuscan region was on the list of possible places to visit. So, of course I was inundated with images of gorgeous hills of the countryside. I love the feeling of being opened up to inspiration as it makes its way to the canvas. there’s nothing better than being surprised by the most genuine of paintings.
